I still have love for you. Even though I shouldn’t. Even though you don’t deserve it. Fragments of you remain attached to my person; you are still very much a part of me. A part that makes it hard for me to face myself in the mirror. You became everything you advocated against. And by association, I did the same.
I hope my words reach you one day. I hope a sense of nostalgia washes over you as my poetry resonates within your heart. I hope they make you wish things had turned out differently. And I hope you fall in love with them the way you never fell in love with me.

This particular story is based on real events, and real love. I hope you all can relate! It was difficult writing this one out because the pain runs deep, and it still stings.
